London Day 30 - 31

After a quiet morning Chris and I headed for breakfast down the road (it was massive) beautiful mushrooms though, this would have been around 12....then we went down to Oxford St, it was raining, people everywhere and really we were just unlucky with people pushing in front of us. I think I did not exist for a while there..anyhoo, picked up a present for Zarina and Rich. Came home and had a nap before going to the house warming in Wapping.

I got stuck into making salads with the help of Zarina and Chris. Dinner went off without a hitch (except the rain of course so we could not use the bbq) Then we all danced the night away in the middle of the lounge room. Got home around 2am, tried to sleep in without success.

Headed to Harvey Nichols 5th Floor Restaurant for lunch with Liz, an old school friend. I caught the bus and remembered so many places along the way as I used to spend the majority of my time in the city on weekends. I think I did a lot more while I was here than I gave myself credit for. So Liz and I had a lovely catch up with some great food followed by a cocktail.

I headed back to Maida Vale to Chris's house and in typical London style it chucked it down as soon as I got off the bus. Really helpful that I was wearing open toe stilleto's...so the forecast for the next couple of days is rain as well, I think I have had one day of sunshine. Never mind though.

Had dinner at a lovely Italian restaurant called Red Pepper and then headed home around midnight for some sleep and to get ready to do it all again another day.
